7 BEAUTY USES FOR AN EMPTY CANDLE JAR

Empty candle jars can be perfect storage containers for small items. I’m going to show you 7 ways you can use candle jars to store beauty items! The possibilities are endless though.

1. Hold cotton balls (or other bathroom items like cotton swabs or cosmetic wedges).

This is a great way to store essential beauty supplies on your bathroom counter without buying a specific container for the same purpose.

2. Use as a brush holder.

Just add some vase filler (I get mine at Michael’s) and stick your makeup brushes in the jar. It looks nice and it keeps your brushes in good shape

3. Display your lip products

I happen to have a lot of lip products. While I already have a separate acrylic holder for lipsticks, I didn’t have anything to hold my lip glosses or lip crayons. This is the perfect solution! I think it looks pretty too!

4. Hold nail polish.

This will only hold a handful of polishes so it shouldn’t be your only polish storage, unless you only have a few bottles to begin with. I happen to have hundreds! If you’re in the same boat with lots and lots of polish too, you can use this idea to hold the polishes you want to use next. Place the jar on your vanity, shelf, or counter top and rotate them out as you use them.

Bonus idea: Use a few jars to separate polish by color and display them on a shelf side-by-side. I think that would look really cute!

5. Store perfume samples.

I have a ton of perfume samples. I can put them all in this jar, place it on my guest bathroom counter top, and let my guests use them when the mood strikes.

6. Display small eyeshadow palettes.

Once again this isn’t going to hold all of your eyeshadow palettes. This works for small thin palettes that you might want to remember to use. I have a good amount of small drugstore palettes that can easily fit. I can rotate them out too, so they all get a turn.

7. Store other samples.

If you subscribe to any monthly sample boxes, your sample collection is probably growing. With this solution, you can store them in the candle jar so that they’re easily accessible. I always have to remind myself to use my samples – this is a simple way to group them together and place it in plain sight.

There are obviously a lot of other storage options for these jars. They could hold craft supplies, office supplies, and knick-knacks too. You can decorate them or place your own labels on them. With all of these cool options, I’m wanting to burn my candles a little quicker!
